A cover design in the style of a serious financial documentary: A gray-haired man in a black suit stands at the center, viewed from behind and slightly to the side. On the left, imagery of the Wall Street trading floor, the Charging Bull, and a chart showing the USD/JPY exchange rate in freefall symbolizes the "financial hunter" who once shorted the yen. On the right, the U.S. Treasury building, a curve showing the yen’s rebound, a golden yen symbol, and a policy notepad reading "Intervene. Buy yen" represent the "guardian" who defends the currency from within the state apparatus. The central headline reads, "From Hunter to Guardian: Why Did Bessent Switch Sides?" with the subtitle "Shorting the Yen → Defending the Yen" below. The design employs a color palette of deep blue, black, and gold to illustrate Scott Bessent’s transformation from hedge fund trader to U.S. Treasury Secretary.
